This Springfield Armory M1A Standard is a 2015-production .308 Win rifle with a 22-inch barrel and classic M14-pattern features. It wears a non-factory camouflage refinish on the composite stock and handguard and comes fitted with a Bassett Machine receiver-mounted Picatinny scope rail. The bore is excellent, and the package includes three 20-round steel magazines.

This M1A Standard retains the proven M14-style operating system in a semi-automatic configuration, built around a 22-inch barrel and a short-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt. It features an M14-type slotted flash suppressor and iron sights with a wing-protected front blade and an adjustable rear aperture with windage and elevation drums.
The rifle is set in a composite stock with molded checkering, a rubber buttpad bearing the Springfield Armory logo, and factory sling swivels. Length of pull is 13.25 inches. The stock and handguard wear a non-factory camouflage refinish that gives the rifle a distinctive appearance.
A Bassett Machine receiver-mounted Picatinny scope rail is installed, providing a solid Picatinny interface on the receiver. This bolt-on mount is a well-regarded solution for adding a top rail to the M1A platform without altering the receiver.
Markings include the receiver heel stamped "US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" and the barrel shank marked ".308." This rifle was manufactured in the USA in 2015 and is chambered for .308 Winchester with a 20+1 capacity when using the included 20-round magazines.
