This SuperNova Tactical uses Benelli’s rotating bolt-head lockup and a steel-reinforced technopolymer receiver/stock system designed for strength and durability. The ribbed polymer forend incorporates the Benelli Mag-Stop button, allowing the user to isolate the magazine when desired. The knurled magazine cap on this example does not have a sling-stud hole, and there is no front sling attachment present; the stock features an integral rear sling slot.
The 18.5 in barrel is cold-hammer-forged from Ni-Cr-Mo steel and chrome-lined for longevity. It features a fixed cylinder bore (Cyl bore), making it a straightforward, low-maintenance setup. The 3 1/2" Super Magnum chamber accepts 2.75, 3, and 3.5 in shells for broad load compatibility.
Target acquisition is supported by a protected-post front sight and an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight with a windage scale. The receiver top is factory drilled and tapped with three holes for an optional rail, offering flexibility for mounting a rail if desired; no rail is installed.
Markings include Benelli U.S.A. Corp. – Accokeek, MD. and Benelli Armi – Urbino – Made in Italy. The Italian proof mark "IT23" denotes 2023 proofing.
