Industria Armi Galesi of Italy made its name in pistols beginning in 1914 with compact 6.35 mm blowback pocket designs derived from the Browning 1906, a signature focus that grew through the 1960s before U.S. import restrictions slashed sales and the company closed in the 1970s.
