Königlich Preußische Gewehrfabrik Erfurt was a Prussian state arsenal in Germany, founded in 1859 by the Kingdom of Prussia. The arsenal was dissolved in 1945 and did not continue as a brand; by the 1930s, Luger pistol production had transitioned to Mauser. Its defining legacy is the manufacture of Luger pistols for Imperial German service.
