Fémáru, Fegyver- és Gépgyár Részvénytársaság (FÉG) of Hungary was founded in 1891 by the Hungarian Industrial and Commercial Bank (Magyar Ipari és Kereskedelmi Bank). Firearms manufacturing ceased in 2004, and today the FÉG name continues on HVAC and appliance products rather than as an independent firearms brand. Its legacy is defined by Rudolf Frommer–designed pistols.
