Fábrica Militar de Braço de Prata (FMP) was a Portuguese arms manufacturer founded in Portugal in 1907. It was integrated under the state defense group INDEP in the early 1980s and closed in 1998. FMP is known for its licensed production of the Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle for Portuguese service and export, with tooling and prints later acquired by PTR for U.S. G3-pattern production.
