Fábrica Nacional de Munições de Armas Ligeiras (FNM) was a Portuguese manufacturer founded in 1947. It merged into Portugal’s state defense company INDEP in 1980, and although factory operations ceased by 2001, FNM-branded ammunition continued to be sold but was manufactured by Prvi Partizan. FNM’s legacy centers on Portuguese military and export small-arms ammunition marked with the “FNM” headstamp.
