Moritz & Gerstenberger Waffenfabrik (EM-GE) of Germany was founded in 1922 by Albin Gerstenberger and Heinrich Moritz. The original Zella-Mehlis firm ceased at the end of World War II, and production resumed around 1950 in Gussenstadt as Gerstenberger & Eberwein (EM-GE Sportgerätewerk), a successor that is no longer active, with the administrative company dissolved in 2022 following liquidation begun in 2016. Its legacy centers on EM-GE air pistols.
