Dareingarms KAR15/30 .224 Valkyrie – Single-Digit Prototype, Custom-Built for Thousand-Yard Precision
Serial KNK001 marks this KAR15/30 as one of the very first to leave Dareingarms’ boutique Texas workshop—a veteran-owned shop that hand-assembles rifles to order rather than running a production line. Chambered in the flat-shooting .224 Valkyrie and anchored by a 20" nitrided CMV barrel, this full-size AR platform blends long-range capability, premium third-party components, and thoughtful custom touches. Its rare status, early provenance, and purpose-driven build make it equally compelling to collectors, competitors, and hunters who want sub-MOA performance past 1,000 yards without stepping up to the bulk of a large-frame rifle. Approximate retail parts value (MSRP): $1,100.
Condition: Very good overall. The Type III hard-coat anodized receivers show only light, superficial handling marks; all finish is intact with no corrosion. Furniture is clean, and the Midwest Industries free-float handguard is unmarred. The bore is excellent—mirror-bright with sharp lands and grooves—indicating minimal round count and meticulous care.
What’s Included: 1× 30-round steel magazine, 1× 10-round steel magazine, QD sling-swivel socket, and a quick-detach bipod/sling stud adapter wheel are supplied so you can tailor the rifle for range work or field carry right out of the gate.
Built on 7075-T6 receivers and capped with a SureFire Procomp muzzle brake, the KAR15/30 keeps recoil flat and sight picture steady, letting the high-BC .224 Valkyrie round do its work. The 15" Midwest Industries M-Series M1 rail gives a rigid, free-float interface with generous M-LOK slots and integrated QD cups, while a custom adjustable gas block—reachable through the handguard—lets you tune the action for suppressed shooting or varied loads. Magpul MOE furniture (six-position stock and pistol grip) provides familiar ergonomics and light weight, keeping length-of-pull adaptable from 10.5" onward. Standard AR controls and a mil-spec trigger mean no learning curve, and the two-position safety selector offers the trusted manual control AR shooters expect.
Because this example is a hand-built, one-off rifle rather than a catalog SKU, the component stack (rail, brake, gas system, and magazines) was selected specifically to complement the .224 Valkyrie’s pressure curve and long-range mission. That combination—plus the rarity of an early, single-digit serial—makes KNK001 a standout for anyone who values exclusivity and performance in equal measure.
If you’ve been looking for a precision-minded AR that you won’t see on every firing line or in every safe, the KAR15/30 delivers ready-to-go accuracy, premium parts, and genuine collectability.
