Savage 110 Hunter .223 Rem. – AccuTrigger | AccuFit | AccuStock
Long regarded as the workhorse of American bolt-actions, the Model 110 reaches a modern peak with this Hunter variant. A trim 22-inch carbon-steel barrel, user-tunable AccuTrigger, and the fully adjustable AccuFit stock system come together in a rifle that balances classic Savage accuracy with today’s ergonomics. In .223 Remington, it is equally at home sizing groups on paper or harvesting varmints across open ground—while its floating bolt head and barrel-nut system keep the legends of Model 110 precision firmly intact.
Condition
Very good overall. The matte-blued metal shows scattered light scratches and handling marks but no deep gouges or corrosion. The gray AccuStock fore-end and buttstock have a few superficial blemishes consistent with careful field use. Mechanically sound—bolt locks up smoothly, AccuTrigger breaks crisply, and the detachable magazine seats positively. Bore condition is excellent: mirror-bright with sharp lands and grooves, ready for precise work.

Built in Westfield, Massachusetts, this rifle layers three signature Savage technologies onto the long-running 110 platform:
• AccuStock: an aluminum bedding chassis molded into the stock locks the action along its entire length, maintaining zero even under recoil.
• AccuFit: interchangeable length-of-pull spacers and raised comb inserts (not included here) let you match the rifle to your stature and optic height without gunsmithing.
• AccuTrigger: user-adjustable down to a light, crisp pull—protected by a silver inner blade that guards against accidental discharge.
Additional touches matter: a spiral-fluted bolt body sheds debris and cycles smoothly, the knurled bolt knob offers positive purchase with gloved hands, and the ambidextrous three-position tang safety allows you to lock the trigger while still cycling the bolt for safe unloading. The sporter-contour, button-rifled barrel with a 1:9" twist happily stabilizes the broad range of .223 bullet weights from 50- to 69-grain, and the rifle arrives already drilled, tapped, and base-mounted for the optic of your choice.
If you’re after a .223 that blends proven heritage with user-friendly adjustability, this 110 Hunter is dialed-in and waiting for its next target or varmint stand.
