SIG Sauer P220 Compact Elite Scorpion .45 ACP – German-Frame, FDE, SRT Trigger, Night Sights
This P220 Compact Elite Scorpion pairs SIG’s hard-to-find German-made alloy frame with a factory Flat Dark Earth PVD/Cerakote finish and corrosion-resistant internals. Built in limited numbers between 2010 and 2013, it offers the sought-after Short-Reset Trigger system, SIGLITE tritium night sights, and four compact stainless magazines. Collectors value its 2013 German frame, while shooters appreciate the compact slide, non-railed dust cover, and extended beavertail that aid discreet carry and control.

The Compact Elite Scorpion uses a 3.9-inch stainless barrel housed in a stainless slide, both finished in matching PVD/Cerakote for enhanced corrosion resistance and reduced glare. Front and rear slide serrations ensure positive manipulation, and the laser-etched “P220 Elite” legend remains crisp.
Its aluminum alloy frame was manufactured in Eckernförde, Germany, then assembled and proof-marked in Exeter, New Hampshire. German frames on P220 Compacts became scarce after SIG shifted production to the United States in 2013, giving this pistol added collectibility.
The SIG Short-Reset Trigger shortens reset travel by roughly 60 percent compared with a standard P220, enabling faster follow-up shots. A short-reach trigger shoe suits varied hand sizes, while the decocking lever offers safe hammer lowering without a manual safety.
Factory Scorpion Hogue G10 grips provide a secure textured surface in matching FDE/olive tones and work with the extended beavertail to encourage a high, controllable grip. Despite the compact six-round magazine, the pistol accepts full-size eight- or ten-round P220 magazines when fitted with an appropriate adapter.
