Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD .308 Win Bolt Action Rifle, Threaded 20-inch Barrel
The Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD pairs Remington’s proven 700 action with a factory-threaded, heavy-contour barrel developed in partnership with Advanced Armament Corp. This mid-2010s production rifle is suppressor-ready out of the box, offers a detachable AICS magazine system, and rides in a Hogue over-molded stock. The result is a compact, accurate platform designed for precision work with both supersonic and subsonic .308 Win loads.

What’s Included
- 5-round steel AICS-pattern magazine
- 10-round steel AICS-pattern magazine
- Three-port muzzle brake (installed)
The 20-inch carbon-steel barrel is button-rifled with a 1:10 right-hand twist, ideal for stabilizing heavier projectiles. Its 5/8-24 TPI threads accept the included muzzle brake or a suppressor without additional gunsmithing.
Remington’s X-Mark Pro single-stage trigger is factory set at approximately 3.5 lb and can be externally adjusted to suit shooter preference. A two-position safety and bolt-release lever deliver straightforward handling.
The Hogue synthetic stock features pillar bedding, full-length forend texturing, and integral sling studs. The rubber-coated, fiberglass-reinforced construction offers weather resilience and a comfortable 13.75-inch length of pull with a soft recoil pad.
The rifle ships with AICS-compatible bottom metal, giving the shooter quick-change magazine capability and a 10+1 total capacity. The action is drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 scope bases, allowing easy optic installation.
Built in Remington’s Ilion facility during the mid-2010s, this AAC-SD variant represents the final generation of factory suppressor-ready 700s produced before Remington’s 2020 bankruptcy.
