Bushmaster XM15-E2S V-Match Carbine 5.56 NATO Semi-Automatic AR-15, 16.5″ Stainless Heavy Barrel
This 1990s-era Bushmaster XM15-E2S V-Match Carbine combines an A3 flat-top upper with a free-floating 16.5-inch stainless heavy barrel for enhanced rigidity and consistent accuracy. The early “L”-prefix Windham-marked lower places it within many pre-ban classifications, adding collector interest. A six-position TAPCO stock creates a lightweight, optic-ready carbine chambered for 5.56 NATO that remains fully compatible with standard AR-15 parts and magazines.

What’s Included
- One 30-round USGI-pattern aluminum magazine
The free-float stainless barrel is threaded 1/2-28 TPI and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor, allowing easy attachment of muzzle devices while maintaining a clean, target-oriented profile.
Upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, hard-anodized black, and roll-marked “B.F.I. – WINDHAM, ME U.S.A.” with the coiled-snake Bushmaster logo and model designation “XM15-E2S.”
A clamp-on gas block with a short Picatinny rail eliminates fixed sights, giving the shooter unbroken rail space for optics and accessories on the A3 flat-top receiver.
The vent-slotted handguard fully free-floats the barrel, reducing heat transfer to the support hand and preventing pressure on the barrel that can disrupt point of impact.
A six-position TAPCO collapsible stock on a commercial-diameter buffer tube, paired with an A2-pattern pistol grip, offers adjustable length of pull while preserving familiar AR-15 ergonomics.
