The SFAR’s 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel uses 5R rifling, a medium contour, and a nitrided finish for long life and consistent accuracy. Threads are cut 5/8-24 and come capped with a Muzzle Brake for effective recoil mitigation.
A rotary 4-position gas block lets you fine-tune function for suppressed or unsuppressed shooting, while the super-alloy bolt with tapered lugs handles the higher .308 pressures inside a compact receiver set.
Controls and ergonomics mirror standard AR-15 geometry. The rifle ships with an ambi-compatible selector (right-side lever installed), a Magpul MOE SL six-position stock, and a Magpul MOE pistol grip for immediate familiarity.
The 15″ Ruger Lite free-float aluminum handguard offers a docked top rail for optic placement and abundant M-LOK slots plus integrated QD sling points. A forged QD-socket receiver end-plate adds another attachment option.
