Interarms Mark X Viscount .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle, 24 in. Barrel, Blued/Walnut
This pre-1980 Interarms Mark X Viscount blends the proven Mauser-style controlled-feed action with a clean sporting profile ready for optics. Built on a Yugoslavian receiver and hand-finished in Manchester, England, this rifle features a 24 inch hammer-forged chrome-vanadium barrel, a gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock, and a five-round internal magazine with hinged floorplate. Collectors value the early “B”-prefix guns for their English proofmarks and careful factory fit.

Built on the robust Mark X action, this rifle retains the full-length extractor and controlled-round feed that made the platform a favorite for custom dangerous-game builds. The receiver is drilled, tapped, and fitted with two-piece scope bases, and the bolt handle is bent low for optic clearance.
The 24 inch sporter-weight barrel is hammer-forged from chrome-vanadium steel, finished in deep blue, and cut with a recessed crown to protect the rifling. This length offers balanced handling while extracting full performance from standard .30-06 loads.
A factory-adjustable trigger, set by twin screws, allows the shooter to fine-tune pull weight. The two-position safety sits at the right-rear of the receiver for intuitive operation, and the hinged floorplate enables quick, safe unloading of the five-round magazine.
The straight-grain European walnut stock sports a Monte Carlo comb, right-hand cheekpiece, and crisp point-pattern checkering for secure grip. A molded black polymer buttplate with gold cream spacer carries the Interarms logo, while factory sling swivel studs accept the included leather sling.
