Sig Sauer MCX-SPEAR 16" .277 SIG Fury Limited-Run Semi-Automatic Rifle
The MCX-SPEAR is the first civilian release of Sig Sauer’s next-generation battle rifle, offered here in the emerging .277 SIG Fury chambering from the limited 2023 production run. Built on an AR-10–sized frame but engineered for modular multi-caliber use, this early-serial civilian SPEAR mirrors the U.S. Army’s XM7 layout in a coyote-tan hard-coat finish and includes fully ambidextrous controls, a side-folding stock, and a factory-installed suppressor-ready flash hider. Rarity, cutting-edge design, and collectible status make this example stand out.

Sig Sauer designed the MCX-SPEAR around a low-profile, short-stroke gas piston with a two-position adjustable gas block, allowing reliable suppressed or unsuppressed use without tuning hassles.
The chrome-lined 16-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel is finished in FNC/nitride, cut with a 1:7 RH twist, and threaded 5/8-24 with a factory SIG QD Clutch-Lok three-prong flash hider—ready for SLX/SLH suppressors.
Ambidextrous ergonomics include a non-reciprocating side-charging handle, traditional rear charging handle, inside-guard bolt catch/release, 90° safety selector, and magazine release—giving right- or left-handed shooters full control.
The coyote-tan 7075-T6 aluminum receiver and skeletonized M-LOK handguard keep weight in check, while the side-folding, six-position Magpul MOE SL stock shortens the rifle for transport and storage without affecting function thanks to the internal recoil assembly.
As an early civilian counterpart to the Army’s XM7 and part of the first commercial run, this ultra high-value SPEAR appeals to collectors seeking a limited, historically significant modern rifle that remains range-ready.
