SIG Sauer P226 X-Five “Club 30” Black & Gold – German Mastershop Limited Edition
This ultra-rare P226 X-Five hails from SIG’s legendary German Mastershop and represents one of the final “Club 30” contract runs before the facility closed in 2020. Hand-built by a single Mastershop gunsmith, the pistol blends competition-grade performance with exhibition-grade detailing: black PVD over stainless steel, gold-plated controls, a skeletonized match trigger, and the distinctive snake-scale slide milling that marks late-series X-Fives. With a 5-inch bull barrel, full-length dust cover, and 19-round magazines, it delivers match-ready accuracy and superb balance—yet only a handful were ever produced, making this an investment-class piece for shooters and collectors alike.
Condition
Excellent overall. The bore is mirror-bright with razor-sharp rifling. Outside, the slide and frame retain a deep, even PVD finish; the only noteworthy wear is a faint rub on the accessory rail from a previously mounted light. Controls, gold hardware, and grip panels are crisp and unmarred. Mechanically flawless and test-fired only at the factory.
What’s Included
Factory black SIG Sauer hard case, matching outer cardboard box, original X-Series manuals, factory test target, sight-adjustment tool, 25 g tube of SIG grease, hang-tag, and two 19-round stainless magazines with extended alloy basepads.
Built for Germany’s elite “Club 30” network of master gunsmiths, this X-Five showcases the pinnacle of SIG craftsmanship. The precision-lapped bull barrel and tri-lug lock-up promote superb harmonics, while the heavy dust cover and slide lightening cuts keep recoil soft and reciprocation quick. An adjustable single-action trigger breaks cleanly and can be tuned for weight and over-travel; ambidextrous safeties suit competitive stages or left-handed shooters. Every visible screw is polished and TiN-coated to complement the gold-plated hammer and controls, and the in-grip Mastershop medallion quietly confirms its pedigree. Discontinued German X-Series production—and the closure of the Mastershop itself—means examples like this will only become harder to find.
If you have been waiting for a centerpiece X-Five that can dominate the range today and anchor a collection tomorrow, this Black & Gold Club 30 delivers on both counts.
