Ruger Mark IV Hunter .22 LR Stainless Steel 6.88" Fluted Bull-Barrel Semi-Automatic Pistol
Made in the USA in 2021, this Mark IV Hunter represents Ruger’s latest rimfire design with the convenient one-button takedown system and post-recall “500” serial prefix. All-stainless construction, a long fluted bull barrel, and bright fiber-optic sights give it the durability and sight picture hunters appreciate, while its as-new condition makes it equally appealing to collectors.

The Hunter trim level centers on a 6.88 inch cold-hammer-forged, fluted bull barrel that balances the pistol and aids cooling while maintaining accuracy. A satin stainless finish on the barrel, receiver, and frame resists the elements and matches the hardwood laminate grips with diamond checkering and Ruger medallions.
Target acquisition is quick thanks to the red fiber-optic front sight paired with a fully-adjustable black rear. For optics users, the receiver is factory drilled and tapped; screw plugs keep it clean until a rail is installed.
Controls follow a familiar 1911-style layout with a left-side magazine release, ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, and serrated bolt ears for positive purchase. The internal hammer, single-action trigger, and 1:16 RH twist rifling help deliver the crisp feel and accuracy rimfire shooters expect.
Weighing 44 oz unloaded and measuring 11.12 in. overall, this full-size .22 LR remains one of the few rimfire pistols marketed specifically for small-game hunters, yet its condition and current-production part number 40118 keep it fully supported by Ruger.
