The Rock Standard FS is a 5"-barreled, single-action pistol that merges traditional 1911 handling with 9 mm economy and capacity. The single-stack magazine holds ten rounds, giving the shooter a balance of capacity and the familiar 1911 grip profile.
The slide carries rear cocking serrations, a low-profile fixed rear sight, and a dovetailed front blade for a durable, snag-free sight picture.
A button-rifled barrel, paired with a full-length guide rod, promotes consistent lock-up and smooth cycling. Series-70 internals omit a firing-pin block, preserving the classic 1911 trigger feel.
Shooter-oriented controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, extended beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized aluminum trigger with adjustable over-travel stop. Checkered rubber/polymer grip panels wear the RIA medallion for a secure hold.
