The 24-inch medium-contour alloy-steel barrel uses 5R rifling and a 1:8 inch right-hand twist to stabilize today’s popular long-range 6.5 bullets. Its threaded muzzle (5/8-24) comes fitted with Ruger’s Hybrid Brake for immediate recoil reduction and flat muzzle tracking.
Ruger’s inline-recoil chassis directs recoil straight back into the folding stock, helping shooters stay on target for rapid follow-up shots. The stock itself adjusts for length of pull, comb height, and buttpad position without tools; adjustments lock in place with positive detents.
The dual-magazine well accepts both AICS-pattern and SR-25/PMAG LR magazines without adapters, giving the shooter flexibility in magazine sourcing. An onboard wrench stored in the bolt shroud lets you tune the Marksman Adjustable trigger pull weight on the range.
A 15-inch free-float aluminum handguard with full-length Key-Mod slots and a continuous 20 MOA Picatinny top rail provides ample space for optics, night-vision bridges, and ancillary accessories. Quick-detach sling cups and a bottom Picatinny rail under the buttstock simplify field carry and rear-bag placement.
