What’s Included
- Marlin Model 336W .30-30 lever-action rifle
- Factory-installed Picatinny/Weaver scope rail
Manufactured in Ilion, New York, this 336W carries the BH barrel code confirming January 2013 production. The MR-prefix serial further verifies it as a Remington-era “Remlin,” produced between 2011 and 2019.
The economy “W” variant retains the time-tested Model 336 receiver but swaps to durable walnut-finished hardwood laminate furniture secured by barrel bands. Cut diamond checkering on the pistol-grip stock gives solid purchase without extra weight.
Its 20-inch, 1:10-twist Micro-Groove barrel delivers the flat trajectories .30-30 shooters expect, feeding from a full-length 6-round tubular magazine for a 6+1 total capacity. The forged steel receiver is satin blued to match the barrel and arrives drilled, tapped, and fitted with the included Picatinny/Weaver rail.
Sighting options include the hooded brass-bead front ramp and a step-elevator semi-buckhorn rear, or any optic the buyer chooses to mount. A cross-bolt hammer-block safety, single-stage trigger, and hard-plastic buttplate with Marlin logo round out the feature set.
