Built on a 7075-T6 billet aluminum frame, this v3 variant uses the latest CS geometry to shorten trigger reach while preserving a full-length 17-round grip. The reversible magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and grip safety deliver true bilateral operation without aftermarket parts.
The slide’s tri-cut profile integrates three oval lightening ports that reveal the stainless fluted barrel and shed reciprocating mass. A green Dawson Precision fiber-optic front pairs with a black serrated rear; the rear dovetail plate can be removed to mount popular micro red-dot optics.
Deep-black Diamond-Like Carbon coating covers both frame and slide for outstanding corrosion resistance and minimal glare. Laser engraving adds “STACCATO ★ CS” along the right side with a small U.S.-flag motif forward of the serial prefix.
A curved, serrated, skeletonized aluminum trigger breaks at approximately 4.25 lb, working with the proprietary 3.5″ tool-less recoil system to deliver a crisp, repeatable shot. The external extractor simplifies maintenance compared with earlier internal-extractor designs.
