A German-silver-style blade front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight dovetailed to the barrel replicate the period sight picture and remain fully adjustable via the step elevator.
The forged steel receiver displays rich bone-charcoal color-case hardening, while the forend cap and crescent butt-plate are finished in polished/blued steel. Combined with the blued octagon barrel, the rifle offers the same contrasting finish scheme prized on 19th-century Winchesters.
