What’s Included
- Western Field Model M550ABR 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun with 26" vent-rib barrel and C-Lect choke (magazine currently plugged to 2+1)
This shotgun has two action bars, consistent with Mossberg 500 design of the era. Parts interchangeability with the 500 series means maintenance and upgrades are straightforward.
The C-Lect choke system turns smoothly from Cylinder to Full, letting the user tailor patterns without swapping tubes. Combined with a 2 ¾" and 3" chamber, it handles a wide spread of hunting and target loads.
An aluminum-alloy receiver keeps weight manageable and carries polished blue/black anodizing. Both sides feature factory roll engraving: upland dog under a moon on the left, flying ducks over marsh on the right—imagery unique to Western Field branding.
The hardwood stock shows pressed diamond “mountain-peak” checkering, a gloss lacquer finish, and a rubber ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14", offering a comfortable fit for most shooters. A silver front bead atop the vent rib supplies a clean sight picture, while the tang-mounted ambidextrous safety is easy to reach from either shoulder.
