SIG Sauer SP2022 Nitron 9mm DA/SA Pistol, 3.9" Barrel, Contrast Sights, Made in USA
The SIG Sauer SP2022 is SIG’s first full-size polymer-frame handgun, trusted for duty use by the French National Police and built in the United States. This Nitron-finished variant delivers the classic SIG DA/SA trigger, a robust four-point internal safety system, and a 15+1 capacity in a lightweight, glass-fiber-reinforced frame. Factory contrast sights, an integral Picatinny rail, and included carry accessories make this SP2022 a ready-to-run package straight from the box.

What’s Included
- SIG Sauer factory hard case
- Two 15-round steel magazines
- SIG Sauer polymer paddle holster (OWB)
- Spare interchangeable polymer backstrap
Built around a carbon-steel barrel and a Nitron-coated stainless slide, the SP2022 combines corrosion resistance with duty-grade durability. The curved DA/SA trigger pairs a solid first-shot double-action pull with a crisp single-action follow-up for controlled, accurate fire.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight manageable while housing an integral M1913 rail for lights or lasers. Interchangeable backstraps let the shooter tailor grip size without tools, and the included spare backstrap is factory-matched for seamless fit.
SIG’s four-point safety system—firing-pin block, hammer safety intercept notch, robust internal safeties, and a frame-mounted decocker—provides redundancy without adding manual levers. An exposed hammer offers visual and tactile status confirmation.
Fixed three-dot contrast sights give a bright sight picture in daylight and represent an economical, easily replaced option for agencies and civilian owners alike. The 3.9-inch barrel balances sight radius and carry length, making this pistol equally at home on the range, in duty holsters, or for personal defense.
