Built on Smith & Wesson’s upgraded M2.0 architecture, this striker-fired pistol combines the proven Shield profile with a flat-faced trigger, improved grip texture, and a reversible magazine release, all in a package that remains compatible with most legacy Shield holsters.

This Plus-series pistol uses a double-column “stack-and-a-half” magazine to deliver 13 + 1 rounds of 9 mm Luger in a 1.1-inch-wide profile, giving concealed carriers more capacity without the bulk of a traditional compact.
The stainless-steel slide wears Smith & Wesson’s durable Armornite matte-black finish and is cut for RMSc/507K-footprint optics. A flush cover plate is installed for those who prefer iron sights.
Tritium night sights come standard: an orange-outline front post paired with a serrated two-dot rear for quick target acquisition in any light. The flat-faced trigger offers a short, tactile reset and integrates the M&P blade safety.
No external thumb safety or magazine disconnect is present, so the pistol can fire with the magazine removed. Smith & Wesson’s transferable lifetime service policy supports the pistol for the long term.
