FEG P9RK 9mm DA/SA Compact Hi-Power Derivative, Blued Steel, 4.15” Barrel, 15-Round
The Hungarian-made FEG P9RK stands out as one of the few double-action renditions of the classic Hi-Power design. This compact K-variant trims slide length while keeping a full-size grip and 15-round magazine, delivering duty-ready capacity in a handier package. All-steel construction, a polished blue finish, and early checkered hardwood grips give this example both durability and collector appeal.

Built on FEG’s proven short-recoil, locked-breech system, the P9RK offers true DA/SA capability with an exposed hammer, half-cock notch, and slide-mounted safety/decocker. These features provide both immediate double-action readiness and single-action precision after the first shot.
The compact 4.15-inch barrel shortens overall length without sacrificing ballistic performance. Combined with a full-length grip, the pistol maintains controllability and a 15-plus-one capacity, matching many modern service pistols.
This example carries K-prefix serial numbers on the frame and slide, while the barrel is stamped 12557, so the gun does not have matching serial numbers as stated. The C.A.I. St. Alb. VT import mark aids Stateside verification for collectors and enthusiasts tracking these limited imports.
Early production checkered hardwood panels replace the later plastic grips, adding both aesthetic warmth and increased purchase. Fixed sights—a ramped blade front and low-profile notch rear—keep the sight picture clean and snag-free.
All major components are machined carbon steel finished in a polished blue/black. The result is a robust sidearm with classic lines that served Hungarian police and security forces through the post-Cold-War era.
