The receiver is steel, finished in matte blued, and marked “Remington 870 TACTICAL.” It is drilled and tapped, allowing quick installation of optics or ghost-ring sight bases without gunsmithing, and it bears serial number RS06174X.
A solid matte-black synthetic stock provides a 13.5-inch length of pull and incorporates a semi-pistol grip, rear sling-swivel stud, and a rubber recoil pad.
