The 590 Shockwave’s 14.5″ heavy-walled barrel is fixed at Cylinder Bore and chambers both 2 ¾″ and 3″ shells, giving you flexibility for buckshot, slugs, or less-lethal loads. A clean-out magazine cap and sling-swivel studs fore and aft add real-world utility.
Mossberg’s dual extractors, steel-to-steel lock-up, and twin action bars ensure the same rugged reliability found in full-length 590 shotguns. The matte-blued carbon-steel barrel and receiver withstand hard use, while the polymer corn-cob forend with integral strap maintains control during rapid cycling.
The factory-installed LS-250G LaserSaddle clamps to the drilled-and-tapped receiver, placing ambidextrous touch-pads exactly where your thumb naturally rests. The 1× green laser is visible in daylight and co-witnesses with the front bead for intuitive indexing in low-light or from unconventional positions.
Despite its compact size, the Shockwave maintains an overall length greater than 26″, earning its BATFE “firearm” classification—no tax stamp required.
