The C39V2 Poly is built on a 4140 ordnance-steel milled receiver with a Type-3 style lightening cut, providing rigidity and strength without excess weight. Because it is machined from a single block and contains no imported parts, it represents one of the first 100 % U.S.-manufactured AK platforms produced after Russian import sanctions.
The 16-inch chrome-moly barrel is nitride-treated inside and out for extended service life and reduced maintenance. It features a 1:10 RH twist and a 14×1 LH threaded muzzle, allowing easy attachment of popular AK muzzle devices or suppressor adapters.
Century’s RAK-1 enhanced trigger group delivers a smooth pull with a clean break, while the selector lever incorporates a manual bolt-hold-open notch for safe inspection or range use. A T-shaped magazine catch promotes fast, positive magazine changes.
Polymer furniture, including a fixed stock, checkered pistol grip, and vented lower handguard, keeps weight manageable and resists weather. The rifle retains classic open sights—post front and tangent rear graduated to 800 m.
