Released at SHOT Show 2022, the SFx Rival was engineered to be “out-of-the-box race ready.” This version keeps every performance feature—then adds a uniform Patriot Brown finish on both slide and polymer frame for a look that is unavailable on standard models.
The 5-inch cold-hammer-forged 4140 stainless barrel uses lightening windows and a top weight-reduction channel to trim reciprocating mass. A 1:10 RH twist and nitrided bore support consistent accuracy.
Competition ergonomics include an enlarged beavertail, double under-cut trigger guard, aggressive molded grip panels, and three backstrap sizes. The reversible magazine release ships with three extension buttons, and the detachable aluminum mag-well speeds reloads without exceeding IDPA or USPSA limits.
The slide is optics-ready with a removable plate and multi-plate kit, backed by fully adjustable target sights and a high-visibility red fiber-optic front. A flat-faced aluminum trigger breaks at 90-degrees with a short 4-lb pull and fast reset, supported by integral trigger safety, striker-status indicator, and loaded-chamber indicator.
Approved for IDPA ESP, USPSA Production/Carry Optics, and IPSC Production Optics divisions, this variant delivers the Rival’s proven match pedigree in a finish that stands apart.
