CZ Scorpion 3+ Micro 9mm Pistol with Threaded 4.2″ Barrel & Ambidextrous Controls
The Scorpion 3+ Micro distills CZ’s next-generation PCC design into one of the shortest, lightest large-format pistols on the market. Built around a cold-hammer-forged 4.2″ barrel and a fiber-reinforced polymer receiver, this 9mm pistol adds user-driven upgrades such as fully ambidextrous controls, a reversible non-reciprocating charging handle, and updated aluminum flip-up sights. The compact M-LOK handguard keeps weight down while a removable flash can protects the 1/2x28 threads and directs blast forward.

CZ engineered the 3+ series as the successor to the Scorpion EVO 3, incorporating widespread shooter feedback. Controls mirror the familiar AR layout and remain completely ambidextrous, making magazine changes and safety manipulation intuitive for both left- and right-handed users.
The reversible non-reciprocating charging handle can be swapped to either side without tools, allowing shooters to customize their manual of arms. Its forward location keeps hands clear of the ejection port and optic mounts.
A micro-length polymer M-LOK handguard surrounds the compact 4.2″ cold-hammer-forged barrel. The handguard’s ventilated design sheds heat quickly while providing rigid accessory mounting slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions.
CZ’s updated aluminum flip-up sights feature a triangular-hood front post and a four-aperture diopter rear, offering a lower-⅓ co-witness with most red-dot optics. Both sights lock positively and fold flat when not in use.
The threaded muzzle wears a removable flash can that protects the muzzle threads and redirects blast forward—ideal for close-quarters or indoor use. Remove the can to attach compatible suppressors or muzzle devices using the standard 1/2x28 TPI thread pattern.
