The Valor is Dan Wesson’s flagship full-size 1911, hand-fitted from forged stainless steel and finished in a blued finish. This example combines a government-length slide, premium night sights, and zero MIM internals, giving shooters and collectors a factory-built pistol that feels custom.

The Valor is built on a forged stainless frame and slide that are hand-lapped for a silky, precise fit. The blued finish produces a deep blue-black tone and resists corrosion for over 1,200 hours in salt-spray testing, making this pistol both attractive and durable.
Shooters will appreciate the match-grade 5 in. forged stainless barrel, the lowered and flared ejection port, and the 25 LPI checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing. A beavertail grip safety with memory bump and an undercut trigger guard improve control during rapid strings.
The Trijicon front sight and Heinie Straight-8 rear sight provide a clean, glowing sight picture in any light. Inside, the pistol uses all tool-steel components—no MIM parts—paired with a long, solid aluminum trigger and a skeletonized combat hammer for a crisp single-action break.
Early production features include a single-sided thumb safety and Norwich NY roll mark. Each Valor is assembled by one craftsman, ensuring consistent fit and finish that meets the model’s premium reputation.
