The KM77RFP designation indicates a stainless, long-action M77 Mark II configured with a synthetic stock and hinged floorplate. This example retains the stainless trigger guard and floorplate, with the release located just ahead of the guard for quick unloading.
Ruger’s controlled-round-feed bolt uses a full-length claw extractor for positive case control—an asset when cycling the belted 7mm Remington Magnum cartridge. The three-position safety allows the rifle to be loaded or unloaded with the firing mechanism locked.
The 24-inch hammer-forged barrel wears a sporter taper and recessed target crown to protect the rifling. A right-hand 1:9¼ twist stabilizes a wide range of 7mm bullet weights, while the stainless construction resists corrosion in harsh weather.
The early-generation “All-Weather” stock is molded from glass-filled Zytel and features integral checkering, sling-swivel studs, a solid recoil pad, and the Ruger eagle grip cap medallion. Its open-arm “boat-paddle” design keeps weight down and handles well in the field.
Integral scope bases are machined directly into the receiver, and the included matched stainless rings provide a solid, out-of-the-box optics mounting solution without additional hardware.
