This Kovert Project pistol is a genuine limited-edition build, featuring a ported and coated rose-gold TiN finish for reduced muzzle rise and enhanced corrosion resistance.
The 7075-T6 billet-aluminum frame keeps weight down while offering a full-length dust cover and a three-slot Picatinny 1913 rail for lights or lasers. Jacob Grey’s hex/diamond Kovert grip texture provides a secure, non-abrasive purchase without requiring added grip tape.
The slide is extensively lightened with chevron cuts, lightning windows, and both forward and rear cocking serrations. It is factory-milled for miniature red-dot sights and ships with plates for RMR and ACRO footprints, letting the owner mount an optic without additional gunsmithing.
A tool-less, two-piece guide-rod system simplifies field-stripping, while the CNC one-piece controlled-radius trigger breaks crisply at approximately 3.5 lb. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a pinned grip safety retain classic 1911 controls, and a skeletonized combat hammer speeds lock time.
