This Del-Ton DTI-15 is a lightweight, forged-receiver AR-15 that combines a 16″ chrome-moly barrel, carbine-length gas system, and detachable A2 carry handle for classic M4 handling with modern versatility. Built in the USA on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and finished with manganese phosphate and hard-coat anodizing, it offers reliable performance in a package that weighs under seven pounds empty.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear; rifling remains sharp with well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: A few minor superficial scratches and small blemishes are present on the exterior surfaces. The bore is clean and shiny.

The 16″ barrel is Del-Ton’s in-house chrome-moly steel tube, threaded 1/2-28 RH with an A2 flash hider and protected by a manganese phosphate finish. The 1:9 twist rate stabilizes 55–69 grain projectiles, making it a flexible choice for common 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem loads.
Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers are hard-coat anodized for durability. The serial prefix “B-” identifies post-2012 production, ensuring compatibility with current AR-15 parts and accessories.
A pinned F-height A2 front sight post pairs with the detachable A2 carry handle rear sight, giving a full M16A2 sight picture while leaving the flattop upper ready for optics once the handle is removed.
The six-position M4-style stock, A2-pattern pistol grip, and carbine-length polymer handguard with heat shield keep weight to a minimum and provide familiar ergonomics. A built-in rear sling loop and front sling swivel support straightforward sling attachment.
