Dan Wesson DWX Compact Optic-Ready 9mm Luger, 4" Match Barrel, DLC Finish, 15+1
The DWX Compact blends the proven ergonomics of the CZ-75 with the crisp single-action fire control of a 1911, delivering a fast-handling defensive pistol that also appeals to enthusiasts who appreciate quality machining and hand-fitted precision. Built in Norwich, NY, this Optic-Ready version ships with a factory-installed plain cover plate (optic-specific plates are purchased separately) and is machined from forged and billet parts—no MIM—in keeping with Dan Wesson’s performance-driven approach.

What’s Included
- Dan Wesson DWX embroidered soft case
- Two 15-round steel CZ-75 Compact pattern magazines
The 4-inch match-grade carbon-steel barrel is bushing-less for faster lock-up and treated with a durable DLC coating that matches the slide. Hand-fit slide-to-frame geometry, a flat-top serrated rib, and aggressive front and rear cocking serrations with a distinctive triple-slash motif keep manipulation positive while maintaining the pistol’s clean lines.
A hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum frame keeps weight down without sacrificing strength. Henning aluminum grips and matching Frag texturing on the frontstrap and backstrap provide secure purchase in any environment, while a reversible magazine release supports left- or right-hand setups.
The flat, red-anodized K-style trigger breaks cleanly in single-action mode, backed by a square Commander-style hammer and a left-side extended thumb safety for intuitive control. The DWX Compact accepts CZ-75 Compact magazines, giving it a 15+1 capacity in a slim, carry-friendly profile.
Optics-ready flexibility comes standard: the slide is cut for the RMR footprint, and a tritium front sight pairs with a fixed Battlehook rear that doubles as the cover plate. The integral accessory rail accommodates lights or lasers for low-light versatility.
