The Rhino’s barrel aligns with the bottom cylinder chamber, placing the bore roughly 30 mm lower than traditional designs. This geometry directs recoil straight back, cutting muzzle climb and perceived recoil, which helps maintain sight picture during rapid fire.
A matte nickel-plated finish covers the 7075-T6 aluminum frame, aluminum barrel shroud, and hexagonal steel cylinder, providing hard corrosion resistance and a distinctive satin look. The stylized Rhino-head logo is factory-engraved above the model text.
The 5-inch shrouded barrel features three elongated oval ports per side to reduce weight and aid cooling. An underside 5-slot Picatinny rail lets shooters mount a light or laser without aftermarket machining—an uncommon convenience on a revolver.
Fiber-optic sights pair a fixed red front blade in a dovetail base with protective ears to a fully adjustable green rear, delivering quick daylight acquisition and precise zeroing. The medium walnut grip sports stippled panels and a Chiappa medallion for secure, comfortable control.
Moon-clip cut chambers speed reloads, and the revolver’s DA/SA action uses an external cocking lever that returns flush after cycling, leaving no exposed hammer spur. Internal safeties include a firing mechanism block and a cocked-status indicator.
