The Savage B-Mag is the first factory rifle chambered for the high-velocity .17 Winchester Super Magnum, giving varmint and target shooters a flat-shooting rimfire in a lightweight package. This example pairs a 22" carbon-steel sporter barrel with Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger, all set into a rugged synthetic stock and delivered with factory-installed Weaver scope bases.

Introduced in 2013, the B-Mag was engineered around the unique pressures of the .17 WSM cartridge. Its centerfire-style, thread-in barrel and barrel nut ensure precise headspacing and dependable accuracy right out of the box.
The 22" carbon-steel barrel features a sporter contour and a 1-in-8" right-hand twist that stabilizes 20- and 25-grain bullets. A matte blued finish minimizes glare in bright field conditions.
Savage’s AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a crisp, break weight down to approximately 2.5 lb without removing the action from the stock. A tang-mounted safety with a red forward “fire” indicator provides intuitive control for both right- and left-handed users.
The one-piece synthetic stock keeps weight down while adding durability. Molded chevron-textured grip panels, a soft recoil pad, and integral sling swivel studs round out the stock’s practical features.
With the receiver drilled, tapped, and equipped with Weaver bases, the rifle is ready for optics. Combined with its 10-round rotary magazine, the B-Mag offers a high-capacity, flat-shooting option for pest control or range work.
