The Wrangler’s 4.6 in. barrel features a 1-in-14 in. right-hand twist for reliable accuracy with standard .22 LR loads. Ruger’s cold-hammer-forging process and Cerakote treatment enhance barrel life and corrosion resistance.
A six-shot unfluted alloy-steel cylinder wears a black-oxide finish that contrasts the light-gray frame. Recessed bolt-stop notches and an index pawl modeled after the Single-Six contribute to smooth, positive cylinder rotation.
