The 4.4-inch Cr-Mo-steel barrel features polygonal rifling and a right-hand twist, optimizing gas seal and easing maintenance. Cold-hammer forging supports long service life.
A nitro-carburized slide in matte black Hostile Environment finish resists corrosion and wear. German proof marks and the Sterling, VA import stamp are present and clear.
Variant 1 controls permit both cocked-and-locked or decocked carry. The three-position lever provides safe, fire, and decock settings, while the spur hammer includes a half-cock notch for added mechanical safety.
Fixed 3-dot sights, a proprietary HK accessory rail, and the included 10-round magazine round out a pistol designed for practical duty use while retaining collectible early-2000s production attributes.
