The 24 in heavy-contour barrel is free-floated and finished with a target crown, with a muzzle diameter of approximately 0.820 in. The 1:12 RH twist complements a wide range of .308 Win. loads aimed at accuracy and consistency.
The H-S Precision stock is a Kevlar/fiberglass/carbon composite with a full-length aluminum bedding block. It features a beavertail forend, dual front sling studs, a rear sling stud, a straight comb, and a recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.5 in. The black/gray textured spider-web finish provides a secure, durable grip.
The short-action steel receiver wears a matte dark-gray Parkerized finish and is drilled and tapped for scope bases with four 8-40 holes. The bolt uses a plunger ejector and internal extractor, and it is fitted with a round checkered bolt knob. There are no factory sights.
Feeding is via a 4-round internal magazine with a BDL-style hinged floorplate. The trigger is user-adjustable. Overall build and features reflect the 700P’s design intent, including Remington’s factory acceptance test of a ≤1 MOA 5-shot group. Made in the United States.
