What’s Included
- Izhevsk IJ70-17A .380 ACP pistol
- One 8-round factory Baikal steel magazine
The IJ70-17A is the commercial variant of the Soviet Makarov PM, chambered in .380 ACP to meet U.S. ammunition preferences. Its fixed 3.7-inch barrel is press-fit to the frame, a design that promotes inherent accuracy and simplifies maintenance.
An all-steel milled slide and frame give the pistol a solid feel and long service life. The blued finish retains the classic Soviet aesthetic while providing basic corrosion resistance.
Import-required features such as the fully adjustable rear sight and wraparound thumb-rest grip distinguish this model from military PMs. The heel-type magazine release, slide-mounted safety/decocker, and single-stack 8-round magazine stay true to the original design.
Baikal’s star-medallion polymer grip includes a lanyard loop, and Russian proof marks remain visible alongside the discreet B-WEST TUC-AZ importer stamp, underscoring the pistol’s Cold War heritage.
