The alloy-steel, heavy .920 in bull barrel is cold hammer-forged and factory threaded 1/2-28 TPI, capped with a removable Ruger Custom Shop–style radial muzzle brake. Six-groove rifling and the bull profile are paired with a matte blued finish. The barrel interfaces cleanly with an anodized aluminum alloy receiver.
The action is the proven semi-automatic blowback 10/22 system. Ruger’s BX-Trigger is factory installed with a 2.5–3 lb pull and an orange anodized trigger shoe. A cross-bolt safety and the standard 10-round detachable rotary magazine system provide familiar 10/22 operation and a 10+1 capacity.
