This Legion variant uses SIG’s first polymer/metal hybrid grip, infusing tungsten into the polymer to bring the unloaded weight to 43.5 oz with magazine. The added mass, combined with a solid steel guide-rod and 14 lb 1911-pattern spring, flattens recoil for rapid follow-ups.
The Legion-gray PVD slide features forward lightning cuts and an R2 optic cut that accepts SIG Romeo1 PRO, Romeo2, and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints without additional milling. A Dawson Precision–style green fiber-optic front sight and fully-adjustable rear sight ride on the optic cover plate, so sight radius is maintained when running irons.
The flat-faced, skeletonized trigger averages a reduced pull weight for a crisp break and short reset, enhancing precision in competitive stages. The modular serialized Fire Control Unit allows caliber or configuration changes across the P320 family without an FFL transfer.
