The serialized fire control unit is the heart of SIG’s modular system, allowing the owner to swap grip modules, slides, and calibers without additional paperwork. This X-Series configuration uses a full-size grip with an extended beavertail, molded stipple panels, and an installed aluminum magwell for faster reloads.
A flat, skeletonized gold trigger offers a 90-degree break and short reset, delivering a crisp feel that many shooters prefer for competition or duty use. The reversible magazine release and ambidextrous slide-catch levers accommodate right- or left-handed operation.
The slide’s optic-ready footprint accepts SIG Romeo1 PRO and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro red dots without the need for adapter plates. Until an optic is mounted, the XRAY-3 tritium sights provide a bright, easy-to-acquire sight picture in daylight or low light.
