The SR22 uses a straight blowback, DA/SA, hammer-fired system with an external hammer and ambidextrous manual safety/decocker. An ambidextrous push-button magazine release makes operation intuitive from either side.
The 3.50" fixed, non-threaded stainless barrel features a 1:16 RH twist. The black hard-anodized aluminum slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and uses the ejection port for quick visual checks.
The black glass-filled nylon polymer frame keeps weight down while providing durability. Interchangeable rubberized grip sleeves let the shooter tailor the grip, and a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail supports lights or lasers.
