- Stevens-Savage Stevens Favorite Model 30 single-shot rifle in .22 LR
- Dovetailed brass-bead front sight
- Folding semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight
- Tang-mounted aperture (peep) sight
The Model 30 is a solid-frame variant, omitting the takedown screw for a stiffer receiver and improved point-of-impact consistency. Its lever-actuated falling-block action handles standard- and high-velocity .22 LR loads with smooth, positive lockup.
The 21-inch, full-octagon steel barrel is button-rifled with a 1:16 RH twist, giving excellent bullet stability for precision plinking or small-game work. The mirror-bright bore and sharp lands reflect the rifle’s minimal round count.
A tang-mounted aperture sight supplements the traditional semi-buckhorn rear sight, delivering a longer sight radius and a fine aiming reference without altering the rifle’s classic profile. The front sight’s brass bead remains easy to pick up in varied light.
Weighing roughly 4.25 lb and measuring just under 37 inches overall, the Favorite balances effortlessly from its slim fore-end. The straight-grip hardwood stock features an oil-matte finish and synthetic buttplate for straightforward field durability.
