Ruger’s three-lug bolt with a 70° lift provides smooth cycling while keeping scope clearance generous. The free-floated, sporter-contour barrel is cold hammer forged for durability and consistent accuracy.
The Marksman Adjustable trigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight to personal preference, improving shot control without aftermarket parts. A two-position tang safety sits naturally under the thumb for quick operation.
The black polymer stock uses Ruger’s Power Bedding V-block system to positively locate the receiver and free-float the barrel. Molded grip and forend serrations, integral sling-swivel studs, and a soft rubber recoil pad add practical field features without extra weight; the rifle tips the scale at roughly 6.2 lb.
Finished in matte black oxide, both receiver and barrel resist glare in bright hunting conditions. With no iron sights, the rifle is optics-ready out of the box thanks to the installed bases.
