The Surplus Ammo & Arms SA-15 delivers a straightforward, U.S.–made AR-15 package built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set and a 16-inch chrome-moly barrel. Carbine-length gas, a , and a classic six-position stock keep the rifle familiar and adaptable, while details such as the parkerized, 1:9-twist barrel and add solid value for shooters who want a no-nonsense, ready-to-run carbine.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Good – Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling – Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The exterior shows a few minor, superficial scratches and small blemishes. The bore is bright and shiny. The detachable carry-handle rear sight locks in place but exhibits a mild amount of play.

The SA-15 lower receiver is marked "SA 15 CAL: MULTI" and displays SAA’s Tacoma, WA address alongside the cross-hair logo. It uses the standard STANAG magazine interface and ships with two Magpul PMAGs for 30+1 round capacity.
The 16-inch chrome-moly steel barrel is parkerized for corrosion resistance, threaded 1/2-28 UNEF, and fitted with an A2 five-port flash suppressor. A carbine-length gas system and direct-impingement action maintain compatibility with standard AR-15 components.
The rifle retains the classic A2 front sight post with an integral bayonet lug and sling swivel. Two-piece round polymer handguards with internal heat shields keep weight down while protecting the shooter’s hands during rapid fire.
A six-position collapsible polymer stock and A2 pistol grip round out the controls, providing an adjustable length of pull and familiar ergonomics. Together, these features make the SA-15 a flexible platform for range use, defensive roles, or further customization.
